Mark McGregor - Chief Operating Officer (COO)

Mark brings over 35 years experience in transport logistics and supply chain to his role as Chief Operating Officer at Icon Logistics. He joined Icon in December 2020 in a consulting role and continues to have a strong focus and passion for mentoring the talented team at Icon Logistics.

He is a lateral thinker, who is always looking at the big picture and develop solutions, often by thinking outside the square. He’s focused on running the ship and excited about having the autonomy to make improvements and create change within the dynamic transport industry.

Dynes Group is refreshing to be a part of, as they’re small enough to be dynamic and create change. If something looks and smells good, you can have a crack, if you fail, fail fast, and move on to the next thing. It makes it an exciting and rewarding place to be.

Mark’s most recent role before taking the helm at Icon was at Fonterra as the Regional Supply Chain Manager for the Lower South Island, which he held for three years. Previous to that he was the Distribution Manager at Edendale and has experience in both Australia and New Zealand in warehousing and distribution with businesses such as Nike, Unilever and Toll.
